yea dont do this yourself. Actually if it isnt misshapen or hurting the animal i wonder why you would want to cut it.
Reply:Take him to the vet, they wont hurt him.
Reply:GO TO A VET IF YOU TALKING ABOUT A REAL RABBIT .IF YOU DO IT YOUSELF YOU COULD HIT A NERVE AND HE WILL BE IN PAIN AND NOT EAT THEN HE WILL DIE BE DEAD UNDERSTAND THAT
Reply:Under no circumstances (short of saving a weakened rabbit’s life), should the teeth be clipped with shears or pliers. The teeth have the consistency of glass and shatter – often below the gum line. Some veterinarians and most dentists have the equipment and expertise to smoothly cut the teeth into proper alignment. If the problem is not corrected, the Rabbit looses weight and mouth infections and abscesses occur. So take it to the vet first..
Reply:take them to the vet and you dont cut them they shorten them
Reply:You take your rabbit to vet and after the vet trims down it's teeth put something in it's cage to gnaw on, rabbits chew on stuff to gnaw down there teeth. My rabbit has all kinds of stuff to keep his teeth gnawed down.
