my lower left wisdom tooth is growing in and it hurt for a day a few weeks ago. i don't know if it's a big deal since it's not hurting anymore. i can feel the side of it with my nail but my gums are still covering it. i don't like the dentist =[ what should i do?

That's your molar erupting. It's fine. They usually come in between 17-21 years of age. If it isn't stopping you from eating, then it doesn't need to be removed. however, if it doesn't fully erupt, that causes pericornitis, which can lead to death. The best thing to do is just schedule a check-up. :)
Reply:I just recently was X-Rayed for my wisdom teeth and even though it doesn't hurt anymore, you should have it removed anyway. Gradually, it will push your teeth forward and create a ton of problems in the future, like major surgery. Get it over with now before it gets out of hand! Besides, the vicodin they prescribe will help you forget that nasty dentist!!
