Does a corpse fart? Nails & teeth grow? Eyes & tongue do what? During decomposition this happens?

Any ideas on the answers?

Does a corpse fart? Nails %26amp; teeth grow? Eyes %26amp; tongue do what? During decomposition this happens?
Talk to an undertaker, or a first year med student, boy, do they have stories to tell.
Reply:I think corpses do let out internal gases... then again, the gases might just build up inside the body.

I'm pretty sure nails and teeth don't grow.

Eyes and tongue should probably not move; if they do, it's a muscle spasm or something. Don't forget that a body will go into rigor mortis, which stiffens the entire body.
Reply:No they are dead. their bodys nor brain are alive so the brain cant make cells to grow.
Reply:I know that a corpse has no muscle control and will let go of whatever is in the rectum. I think that the skin shrivels so that it can give the illusion of long hair and nails, someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is true. To the person above me, hair and nails are made out of dead cells, not new ones.
Reply:This is morbid.

Gasses from decomposition can build up in a corpse and release, making sounds. I wouldn't call it flatulence though.

No, nails and teeth and hair do not continue to grow.

Eyes and tongue will decompose just like the rest of the body.
Reply:yes they do, they also excrete whats ever left in them and urine usually occures, did you know that when all your excretion is removed from your body ( even after you go to the bathroom) you have no less then 20 pounds in you!
Reply:Yes, it is possible for the dead to pass air through the rectum-I'm not quite sure about the tongue, but the eyes do "fog over" (for lack of a better term). During decomposition I believe the epidermis and such begin to deteriorate from microscopic bacteria. And no, nails and teeth do not grow after someone has died. Hope this helped a little

BTW: As an STNA I have the job of caring for the elderly after they pass away, and I have seen some freaky things-one in particular: about 8 yrs. ago, I was caring for this man who had passed just about five minutes earlier...as I was washing his face, his left arm jerked straight up and nearly hit me in the head...needless to say I went to get a coworker to help me finish...
Reply:No pupet, it's dead.
Reply:only the actions of the bugs and therising of gasses due to decomposition ,have disturbing effects on the corpse,

in the garden of eden, the snake was Enki the only good Anunaki that wanted to give freedom to the slave race created by the bad Anunaki(they are still in charge ,using religions )the story of Adam was symbolic as all of the stories were .And it was wriiten by the ones who controlled ,and so Enki was made to look bad and evil -unfairly

the anunaki were an alien reptilian race ,that is why demons devils dragons look like they do they represent the Anunaki and can be found all over the world .in ancient history.

AnunakiPDF(those who descended from the heavens)
Reply:The body of a deceased may release gas, yes. And they also may excrete any remaining feces or urine, but whoever said no less than 20 pounds?! Is she serious? That is ridiculous. And for the aide claiming that a man's arm jerked up and almost hit her in the face, didn't happen, I can gaurantee that. Nails and teeth do not grow, however the skin surrounding the nails may dehydrate, giving the illusion of growth. Nothing particular happens to the tongue, the eyes do become cloudy. And no, bodies do not sit up. Ever. That is an old urban myth and of the thousands of bodies I have embalmed, none have sat up. Not one.
Reply:Corpses do sit up, especially when they are given the bill.

They also can learn basic skills they once knew when they were alive. All they need is human remains as a reward (Day of the Dead is proof of that.)

Seriously, hair and nails do continue to grow.

I get weary of having so called professionals force their 'experiences' on this 'oh so serious' site and send troll mail when others don't seem to confirm to their high standards.

If they are so smart, why don't they share their infinite knowledge to the medical universities?

Why do they need to dwell in Yahoo?
