Is America headed towards disaster?

Is America Headed twords disaster? Gorege Bush is fighting the American people tooth and nail to keep forces in Iraq after the most wide spread protests since Vietnam.





He continues to support the Patriot Act and is fighting to keep it. And there are more personel investigations done on known objectors and protesters and those assosiated with them than you can shake a stick at.





There are theories that Gorge Bush is planning to call a state of emergency nearing the next election to either post pone it....or avoid it all together keeping the Bush administration in power, our forces in the Middel East, and our privacy nothing more than a memory.





Is this too far from reality, all the peices could fit into the picture of disaster if you look at them close enough.





We need to Impeach Bush before he Vetos our next ellection.

Hey - I don't think any of this will happen, but then again I do not think Saddam was about to attack America. When I pointed that out to hysterical right wingers they invariably responded with something along the lines of "What - you want to wait until our cities are in flames before you want to react?" - so we launched the pre-emptive attack.


Well perhaps you have a point - we should launch a pre-emptive attack on Dubya for his possible attempt to take over our nation as his personal fifedom.


In a move I know Dubya will understand and respect we will disregard world opinion, ingore the constitution, just grab him in the middle of the night, suspend habeus corpus (naturally) and ship him down to Gitmo. We had better round up any body we suspect of supporting him in this and send them there as well. And of course anyone having a phone call with a neo -con or suspected neo-con would need to have his phone tapped.

It is necessary for any country to defend themselves. when ever there is a war in a free society there are protests; they are going to happen.





There is no precedent of any President ending elections or even postponing it. The only "evidence" of this coming to pass is the Presidents extreme political enemies.





In order to impeach a President you must have a reason other than the extremest left does not approve.





You also must remember that there is only a small majority in Congress. Plus many of the Democratic members ran as moderates; an impeachment would not fit with that image.





Instead of whipping yourself into a frenzy why not chose a Democratic candidate that you approve of and work for their election.
Reply:You don't know your history. We always have a disaster brewing. Everybody hangs around sharpening their knives waiting for the chance to screw the yankees into the ground. Just never works out that way.

Reply:If tornado's, torrential rain and hurricanes hit America from East to West and North to South simultaneously, then you'll have a disaster; but to say that you're heading to a disaster because of a war in the Middle East, means you're exaggerating. Things could be worse than what we are in now, if a war starts with Iran, but these are areas far away from US and still elections can be held because you're not in a war zone. The US army will be affected but not the US land.
Reply:Its not impossible but it is highly unlikely. The reason I say this is not that the president couldn't try to stay in power but that he probably wouldn't be president of anything if he tried. A legal president has the power of law and government at all levels to back him up. If he breaks the law to the extent you suggest then most of that support would fade.


Not all military officers and units would follow the orders of a president viewed as an illegal dictator.


States might succeed form the union.


The stock market would crash because people don't feel comfortable investing when the government might start nationalizing things at any moment. If nothing else here would convince the people in charge to go easy their stock value would. Trust me on that.


Not to mention he would probably be impeached and violent groups would spring up like weeds all over the country.





I can figure this out. I am not a genius nor do I have a scrap book full of diplomas. Chances are someone who works for the President could figure this out as well. I even think Bush could figure this out without too much difficulty. He may not be a genius but hes not a moron either.


Its good to be suspicious of government but keep your suspicions realistic.

7) inetrfare peaceful relation between ISLAMIC country and ISRAEL;


8) helped the countries with dictotorship;


9) tortourcher political prisoner because they are freedomfighter;


10) developed bio-logical weapon,


11) developed or tested ATOM BOMB, which are against HUMANKIND;


12) USED ATOM BOMB AGAINST OTHER COUNTRY.
